How many types of aluminum alloys for radiators

We know aluminum alloys are widely used for electronic Radiator, and how many types of aluminum we have till now? Let's list a brief summary here.

First types are AL series like AL6063/ AL6061 Aluminum Alloys.

-AL series have the excellent plasticity, so they are flexible to be extruded into various profiles of radiators. Almost any type of heat sink can be manufactured, the process is so mature that the manufacturing competitions are very heated already, and we manufacturers then turn to compete on custom heatsink prices, cooling fin innovations new materials of ceramic heatsinks and services.

The second type: Cast Aluminum

-Cast aluminum is mainly used for those radiators that normally have large irregular shapes and equipment cabinets.

The third, LF/LY series

-They are normally specially used for electronic equipment radiators. And they are used when there are certain or strict requirements for the hardness and corrosion resistance of the products. Now days, LY12 on the market have been used more often.

-And the last, Pure aluminum

Pure aluminum is mostly used in circumstances that with high thermal conductivity requirements. This type is rarely used.
